Charlotte Grieve sabotages Euro Pacific Bank’s key banking relationships.
This email confirms how unethical Grieve, McKenzie, and Goldstein are. They came into possession of information from an illegal leak that was supposed to remain confidential. They then sent emails to key banking relationships of Euro Pacific Bank, letting them know my bank was being investigated for money laundering and tax evasion. While from a legal perspective the bank is innocent until proven guilty, from an AML compliance perspective, it’s much safer for other banks to assume where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Mizuho Bank ignored their inquiry, but the Bank of Montreal suspended the bank’s correspondent banking account. The reason these investigations are kept confidential is to protect the innocent. While the investigation itself completely exonerated the bank, thanks to unethical “journalists” exposing the existence of the investigation, a completely innocent suspect was punished anyway.
