Questions from McKenzie to Grieve about EPB.

Questions to Ask John Chevis

Here McKenzie emails a list of questions to himself and Grieve that were likely prepared to ask John Chevis, who was interviewed two days later.  Of interest is that Mckenzie makes several false claims including;

1. Schiff seems to openly promote tax evasion. 2. Anderson has been a bankrupt investigated for shonky dealings by American regulators. 3. hallmarks potential criminal operation. 4. why would simon antequil want to use EPB, 5. why would drug trafficker darby angel want to use EPB, 6. why would EPB allow these people to become clients? 7. we have evidence of criminals opening accounts… what does this say about EPB’s controls?

1. McKenzie had no evidence that I ever promoted tax evasion; 2. Anderson’s bankruptcy from 1998 had nothing to do with “shonky dealings with regulators;” 3. there were no hallmarks of a criminal operation: 4. Simon Antequil only used his Euro Pacific account briefly, prior to his having any criminal record, before compliance closed it; 5. Darby Angel was not a drug trafficker and he never used his Euro Pacific Bank account; 6. Since neither Antequil nor Angel had criminal records at the time they opened their Euro Pacific Bank accounts, there was no reason for the bank not to have accepted their accounts; 7. McKenzie had no evidence of criminals opening accounts, so there was no it said nothing about EPB’s controls.
