Email from McKenzie to Grieve Regarding Patrick Flynn and Euro Pacific Bank.

This email chain shows Grieve and McKenzie preparing for Grieve’s sting operation with Flynn, in which she poses as a consultant with a client looking to hide dirty money. Most of what Grieve wrote about the bank was true, with the exception of the following: “These accounts can be de-identified and used for the purposes of money-laundering and/or tax evasion.” That was false. All of the accounts were identified, and the bank’s compliance was so strict that money launderers and tax evaders would be forced to use other, less strict banks. Grieve had no actual evidence that this was the case. My guess is that she just accepted what she was told by their corrupt government source. But even after her ‘investigation’ revealed that the government source was wrong, she covered up the truth and knowingly helped the government spread the lie.
