Mariame McIntosh Robinson was hired by Qenta to be the new president of the rebranded Euro Pacific Bank. She quit her job as president of First Global Bank in Jamaica to take the position. She was a few weeks away from moving to Puerto Rico when OCIF unexpectedly and abruptly rejected the sale and put the bank into receivership. Instead of allowing a seasoned banking professional running the bank, the OCIF Commissioner appointed an unqualified trustee with zero prior banking experience.
