Email from Grieve to McKenzie discussing inaccurate NYT article about anonymous cards.
In this email, Grieve writes that a third-party website claimed that Euro Pacific Bank offered anonymous debit cards. But this was not true. All of the cards the bank issued had names written on them. Grieve would have known this had she gone directly to the bank, rather than relying on a completely independent third party source. It’s actually likely that she did find the truth, but like all other exculpatory evidence she found, she hid it from the public.
